And I'm not too familiar with FF9, but I like how this is a littler edgier from all the other FF9 art that I've seen. The colors are great as well!

And the anatomy.. it fits with the style
Photoshop is a very emotional program. It's sometimes worse than a pregnant woman, imo.
Speed paints are fun, no pressure at all 8D
I have troubles with muscle anatomy sometimes, and it shows. I never think about the concepts or anatomy while drawing because my style is more spontaneous than technical. The best remedy I could think of in order to not repeat the same mistake again is to observe and draw muscle structures almost daily so that it becomes second nature.
